“Stanton” Street

Went to see a friend, Jason, DJ on Manhattan’s Lower East Side last night. Jason can seamlessly work David Axelrod, Scritti Politti and the Grateful Dead into one set. He was doing so at a small Italian restaurant, Mangiami, on Stanton Street. You have to love the idea of DJing on a street whose name is synonymous with turntables and turntable cartridges.
