There’s a new sidebar section on this site, just above the “5 most recent comments.” The new sidebar provides a tidy place to summarize upcoming events, of which there are several. At the moment this includes (1) an August 19 Disquiet Junto concert in Denver, Colorado, and (2) the September 12 start of a 15-week class I’ll be teaching at the Academy of Art here in San Francisco, where I live. Also, (3) there’s a book on manga due out September 15 from Salem Press, for which I wrote the introduction; as the release date nears, I will be reprinting that introduction here, with the publisher’s permission.
More will be added to this new sidebar section as future events come into focus.
